BRUTAL
Art that finds the beauty in Brutalism
Brutalwares is an Acrylic Painter based in the North-East UK.
Creating a body of work based on an extreme fascination
with Brutalist Architecture and the pursuit of the perfect concrete
texture, the artist's work aims to try and challenge people’s perceptions
on Brutalism, and promote beauty in the mundane.

My name is Brutalwares. I’m an artist that loves to paint concrete.
Why do I love to paint concrete? I’m obsessed with Brutalist Architecture.
My goal is to share that passion with the world, challenge a few perceptions
on how people view Brutalist Architecture and the interesting beauty of
concrete, and perhaps help them see it in a more positive light, as I do.
The mundane has never looked so beautiful.
